Booking Confirmation and Payment Schedule

A booking is officially confirmed only when all of the following steps are complete:

• You approve the final Cambodia tour itinerary, quotation, inclusions, exclusions, travel dates, and any special conditions.

• Planet Travel Advisor receives the required deposit or agreed payment.

• Planet Travel Advisor sends written confirmation by email, an official invoice, or a booking confirmation message.

Here is the required payment breakdown for all standard Cambodia travel packages:

• 1. Initial Deposit (25%): A 25% deposit of the total tour cost is required to secure your booking. Once received, we will confirm your hotels, domestic flights, and primary services.

• 2. Second Installment (65%): 65% of the total tour cost is due 25 days before your scheduled arrival in Cambodia.

• 3. Final Balance (10%): The remaining 10% of the total tour cost is due 7 days before your arrival.

Note: Custom luxury itineraries, large group bookings, or travel during peak holiday seasons may require adjusted payment timelines or higher initial deposits, which will be communicated in writing prior to booking.

Once the booking is confirmed, our team begins securing the services included in your program. This may include hotels, domestic flights, guides, vehicles, and special attraction permits. A preliminary quotation or verbal interest does not hold availability or price.

Accepted Payment Methods

We provide secure and straightforward payment solutions for our international clients:

• Credit and Debit Cards: We accept major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) through our encrypted payment gateway.

• Bank Wire Transfers: Clients can choose to wire funds directly to our corporate accounts. Travelers are responsible for any international transaction fees or transfer costs levied by their issuing banks.

• Cash Payments on Arrival: In specific pre-approved situations, travelers may pay the final remaining balance in cash (typically in crisp USD, which is widely accepted in the country) to our local representatives upon arrival.

Cancellation by the Traveler

Modifications and Itinerary Amendments

Travel plans occasionally require adjustments. If you need to alter your travel dates or modify specific sightseeing days after confirmation, we will work to accommodate those changes without additional administrative charges, provided you give ample notice. However, if your requested changes impact non-refundable hotel deposits or domestic airline tickets, those direct third-party costs will be added to your invoice.

Cancellation by Planet Travel Advisor

In the highly unlikely event that we must cancel a scheduled tour due to circumstances entirely beyond our control (such as severe weather events or sudden political instability), we provide travelers with two main options:

1. Reschedule the itinerary for a future date without any supplementary administrative fees.

2. Receive a full refund of the amount paid, minus any unrecoverable expenses already dispersed to local suppliers, hotels, or airlines.

We strongly advise all clients to purchase comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking to protect against trip interruptions, medical emergencies, and unforeseen cancellations.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds are issued directly back to the original payment method. For credit card transactions, please allow 7 to 14 business days for the funds to clear, depending on your financial institution's processing timeline. Wire transfer refunds follow standard international banking timelines, and any corresponding international bank fees will be deducted from the returned amount.
