15 Day Coastal Escape to Vietnam’s Beaches

Your Vietnam beach vacation begins with a trip to Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring nearly 2,000 islands and limestone pillars in the Tonkin Gulf, known as the "Bay of Descending Dragons".

Depart your hotel and enjoy scenic views en route, passing tranquil villages and fields dotted with buffalo.

Upon arrival at Halong Bay, enjoy a welcome drink and freshly caught seafood lunch as you sail past spectacular limestone formations. Take part in swimming, kayaking, and visiting caves on the islands.

In the late afternoon, join a Vietnamese cooking demonstration with onboard chefs and savor a seafood feast for dinner under the stars. You may opt for night fishing before retiring to your elegant, air-conditioned cabin with handcrafted wooden interiors for an overnight stay aboard.

Rise early to witness the sunrise over Sung Sot Cave and join a Tai Chi class with the boat’s Tai Chi guru.

Enjoy a light breakfast on the upper deck while enjoying the stunning views of the rocky islands. Later, explore Sung Sot Cave, swim, and relax. Return to the jetty while brunch is served, passing more fascinating rock formations.

Arrive at Halong Port in the early afternoon, then transfer back to Hanoi for your flight to Danang. Upon arrival, meet your guide and transfer to your hotel in Hoi An for a well-deserved rest.

Spend two days leisurely on the beach, enjoying sunbathing, swimming, or water sports. Alternatively, explore Hoi An Ancient Town, visiting landmarks such as Chua Ong Pagoda, Chinese Assembly Halls, the 200-year-old Tam Ky ancestral house, and the Japanese Bridge.

You may also relax at a local pub, shop, or visit local tailors renowned for crafting quality clothes quickly. Another option is a boat trip to Cu Lao Cham to explore fishing villages, snorkel, and enjoy a Vietnamese seafood lunch at a jungle restaurant.

After breakfast, enjoy free time before transferring to the airport for a short flight to Nha Trang. This coastal city offers a lovely beach, islands for snorkeling and scuba diving, and vibrant nightlife.

Check into your hotel and spend the day at leisure, exploring the town or relaxing along the picturesque turquoise waters of the South China Sea. Enjoy the restaurants and cafés lining the white sandy beach, sheltered by coconut trees.

Over these two days, enjoy your free time at leisure in Nha Trang, relaxing and unwinding at the resort overlooking the beautiful bay. Snorkel or dive among the coral reefs in crystal-clear waters, hike nature trails, cool off in your private plunge pool, indulge in spa treatments, or relax on the white sandy beach and admire the unspoiled mountain and sea views.

After a relaxing morning, take a flight to Saigon.

Upon arrival at Saigon/Tan Son Nhat Airport, you will be met by our tour guide and transferred to your hotel for check-in.

In the evening, immerse yourself in Saigon's vibrant food culture. Begin a culinary adventure in the city's heart, where locals gather to eat. Walk along small alleys as the streets come alive at night. Guided by our expert, sample an array of unique and delicious Vietnamese dishes. Start with a rice paper pizza, enjoy some bánh bèo (water fern cakes), try fresh snail dishes, and savor bánh xèo (Vietnamese pancakes). Conclude with a dessert from one of Saigon's sweet soup vendors. Return to your hotel for rest or explore Saigon's lively nightlife.

Today, venture to Cai Bè Floating Market and explore the unique lifestyle of the Mekong Delta.

Upon arrival at the Cai Bè land market, visit rice factories in An Cu Village before proceeding to Dong Hòa Hiệp to tour an ancient house. Next, board a boat to Cai Bè Floating Market and a handicraft workshop.

Continue to Tân Phong Island, where you'll take a rowing boat along small canals. Pause at Mekong Ecolodge for a short break, then cycle around the island, engaging with locals in their daily activities. Visit a local house to learn how to make jackfruit leaf cakes, an area specialty. Relax on hammocks under the shade of a 200-year-old milk fruit tree or experience crossing a Monkey Bridge, a signature feature in southwestern Vietnam.

Afterward, visit another house to learn water hyacinth knitting and craft a hat under expert guidance. Finally, return to Mekong Ecolodge for a cooking class and enjoy lunch.

In the mid-afternoon, take the ferry back and transfer to Saigon by car.

Leave Saigon and drive 200km to Phan Thiết, renowned for its fish sauce production. Pass through Phan Thiết Town before arriving in Mũi Né, known for its white sand beaches, charming fishing villages, desert-like dunes, and diverse flora and fauna.

Check into your hotel and enjoy free time to relax on one of Vietnam's most beautiful beaches.

Spend the next three days entirely as you wish. Mũi Né is a haven for watersports like windsurfing and kitesurfing. Its vast sand dunes are perfect for jeep safaris, and the area is famous for its fresh and affordable seafood.

If you're looking for relaxation, indulge in a massage or spa treatment. Enjoy cocktails and seafood by the sea, and capture stunning photos of the sunsets.
