Your Vietnam Beach vacation begins with a trip to Halong Bay, a collection of almost 2000 islands and jungle-clad limestone pillars in the Tonkin Gulf. Called “Bay of Descending Dragons” in Vietnamese, the archipelago is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a world-famous travel destination.
Leave the hotel with a shuttle bus and go to Halong with a pass-through of fantastic scenery en route to tranquil villages and buffalo on fields.
Upon arrival, enjoy a welcome drink and a delicious freshly caught seafood lunch while sailing out of the Bay, passing amazing-shaped mountains. Enjoy the seascape from the sundeck or even in your private cabin through a glass window. For more experience, go swimming or kayaking and visit the island's caves. In the late afternoon, we take part in a Vietnamese cooking demonstration by the onboard chefs and enjoy the seafood feast for dinner as stars emerge from behind those jungle-clad limestone pillars.
We spend the night on board in the elegant cabin with its handicraft wooden interiors and air conditioning. Alternatively, we can go night fishing before our overnight stay aboard.

Day 5
Saigon – Caibe – Tan Phong Island
Today, we head to Cai Be floating market to explore the typical Vietnamese life of the Mekong Delta.
Upon arrival, we board a local boat and cruise along the Mekong River to discover the beautiful landscapes and immerse ourselves in the local people’s market, where real trading takes place, such as selling, buying, and exchanging fruits, vegetables, and other wares from their boats.
Then, continuing, we will experience how the local people make their living from fruit trees. A local family will serve us local seasonal fruits and honey tea while performing traditional southern Vietnamese folk music, called Tai Tu music.
We continue exploring with a pleasant rowing trip down small canals and dense palm trees, experiencing the local villages between the islands and a small islet. Arrive in Tan Phong Island; you will check in your Mekong Ecolodge and tantalize our taste buds with a magnificent seafood lunch prepared by the family with a unique experience of tasting local delicacies. The unforgettable day menu is a set of typical Mekong Delta food.
After relaxing, we could walk around the village, visit the rice paddy, and talk to the local farmers. It would be a great experience to directly join the local farmers in their daily activities, such as how to catch fish and crab for your own dinner.
Late afternoon you are participating in cooking class and dinner with what you’ve cooked.
In the late afternoon, the family would love to show off their skills in whipping up your dinner, giving you a very creative cooking demonstration. Enjoy the dinner you have just cooked.
