Day-01 Amman to Madaba, Mount Nebo, Baptism Site & Dead Sea
Your day begins at approximately 8:00 AM with pickup from your Amman hotel or designated meeting point. Meet your guide and driver, then travel south toward Madaba.

At approximately 9:00 AM, arrive in Madaba, a city renowned for its Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics. Visit St. George's Church to see the celebrated 6th-century Madaba Mosaic Map, an important surviving representation of the Holy Land.

Continue at around 10:30 AM to Mount Nebo, a major biblical site traditionally associated with Moses looking across the Promised Land. From the elevated viewpoint, enjoy broad views over the Jordan Valley and Dead Sea, with more distant landmarks visible when conditions are clear.

Around 12:00 PM, stop at a local restaurant for your included lunch before continuing through the Jordan Valley.

At approximately 1:30 PM, visit the Baptism Site, Bethany Beyond the Jordan (Al-Maghtas). This UNESCO World Heritage Site is traditionally identified by major Christian denominations with the baptism of Jesus by John the Baptist. During the visit, see archaeological remains connected with centuries of Christian pilgrimage, including the remains of churches, baptismal structures, and other religious sites near the Jordan River.

Continue to the Dead Sea at around 3:30 PM. Spend time beside its highly saline waters and enjoy the unusual experience of floating while taking in the surrounding Jordan Valley landscape.

At approximately 5:30 PM, begin the return journey to Amman, with arrival expected around 6:30 PM.
