Depending on available time and your walking ability, this can include continuing deeper into Petra or tackling the uphill route toward the Monastery (Ad Deir).

    Your day begins with pickup from your hotel in Aqaba, normally in the early morning. Meet your English-speaking driver and travel by private vehicle toward Petra, with the road journey taking approximately two hours under normal conditions.

    On arrival at the Petra Visitor Center, your included entrance arrangements allow you to begin exploring the archaeological site without the contradictory instruction currently telling travelers to purchase their own admission.

    Meet your English-speaking spot guide for approximately 2–2.5 hours. Follow Petra's classic approach through the Siq, the narrow sandstone passage that leads to the Treasury (Al-Khazneh). Continue into the ancient city past the Street of Facades, Theater and Royal Tombs while your guide explains the main features of Petra and its Nabataean heritage.

    After the guided portion, continue exploring independently. The current itinerary also identifies the Great Temple area as part of the day's sightseeing, although its exact placement within the guided or independent portion should be confirmed.

    Travelers with sufficient time and walking ability may continue toward the Monastery (Ad Deir). Because this requires a more demanding uphill walk and the included guide service lasts only 2–2.5 hours, it should not be marketed as a guaranteed guided visit until the operating team confirms the exact arrangement.

    Return to Petra's main entrance at the agreed time, where your driver will meet you for the approximately two-hour journey back to Aqaba and drop you at your hotel.
