After breakfast, begin your visit to Petra. Travelers who prefer an early start may arrange a breakfast box with the hotel in advance.

Meet your local English-speaking guide and enter the archaeological site through the Siq, the narrow sandstone passage leading toward Petra’s best-known façade, the Treasury. Continue through the ancient city to see sites including the Street of Facades and Royal Tombs while learning about Petra’s Nabataean history and architecture.

Enjoy an included lunch during your Petra visit. After the guided portion of the tour, you have free time to continue exploring independently. Travelers with sufficient time and energy may continue toward Ad Deir, the Monastery, before making their way back toward Petra’s main entrance.

Return for your second overnight stay in Petra.

After breakfast, leave Petra and travel north for a varied sightseeing day.

Your first stop is Kerak Castle, a major historic fortress known for its stone-vaulted passageways and commanding position above the surrounding landscape.

Continue your journey and enjoy an included lunch during the day before or around your scheduled Dead Sea visit.

At the Dead Sea, approximately two hours are scheduled for leisure by the shore. The unusually saline water makes floating one of the characteristic experiences of a visit here.

From the Dead Sea, travel to Mount Nebo, traditionally associated with Moses viewing the Holy Land. Visit the site of the Moses Memorial Church, where surviving mosaic floors are among its most notable features. In clear weather, the elevated setting also provides wide views across the surrounding landscape.

Continue to Amman, check in at your hotel and spend the evening at leisure.

After breakfast, check out from your Amman hotel and travel north to Ajloun Castle, also known as Qal'at Ar-Rabad. Set above the surrounding hills, this medieval fortress was established as a strategic military stronghold and offers extensive views over northern Jordan.

Continue to Jerash, one of Jordan’s most important archaeological cities. During your visit, see major remains such as the colonnaded streets, public spaces, Nymphaeum, theatres and Temple of Artemis. Local English-speaking guide service is included during the Jerash visit.

Enjoy an included lunch during the day before continuing toward Amman Airport.

After sightseeing and lunch, transfer to Amman Airport for departure. The current itinerary is designed around a sufficiently late departure flight.
